As a committed environmentalist, it was an immense honour to document the life and legacy of Polly Higgins, the pioneering lawyer who fought to make ecocide an international crime. Her work was groundbreaking, and capturing the warmth and power of her memorial event was a deeply personal project. Shot on Super 16mm film, the documentary preserves the raw emotion and authenticity of the gathering, honouring her impact on the environmental justice movement. Polly’s fight for the planet continues to inspire, and I was privileged to contribute to preserving her legacy through film.
